We change our Seasonal Menu 3-4 times a year to keep things interesting.

Vanessa Davisson started cooking for families in 1994. As a nanny of a 6 day old baby who seemed to sleep all of the time, Vanessa started teaching herself how to cook for the kosher family she lived with. Homemade Falafel, chili, enchilada casserole, roasted chicken w root vegetables to name a few items. After she left (to try working as a secretary at San Quentin) the family she had lived with called and said
"Ahhhh we are eating the same STUFF every night, QUESADILLAS! Help!"
And so... in 1994 Girlfriend's Kitchen was born. Vanessa had weekly clients and also worked for 2 years at Homechef Cooking School as Assistant Director.
In 2007 the Girlfriend's Kitchen name was taken over by the "My Girlfriend's Kitchen" franchise and Chef Vanessa was created.
